I'm looking at buying a Samyang wide angle lens for Milkyway photography this summer in the Swiss Alps whilst on holiday.

When I search for the lens (eBay) i seem to find two lenses at 14mm for canon ...
Hi Keety. I start by taking a wide angle shot then slowly zooming in whilst taking more pics and trying to keep it centred until I have it just right. Takes patience though!
Next time we go I'll do a timelapse as you could see the direct flight path of planes coming in over the UK towards Manchester. That would be pretty cool with a stars as a backdrop

This was a quick try at shooting the constalation cassiopia above my house in Harrogate, didn't realise there was so many stars as I could deffornately not see this lot with my own eyes. I fact the constalation is lost in this lot!!:)
