    Beginner First 35mm film SLR

Hi Matt, although an FE would be a good camera, to go with your AI-S lenses I'd say stick with an F80, F90 or if you want to spend more and get the best film camera Nikon produced get an F100 MOD EDIT: NO OFF CLASSIFIEDS SELLING ATTEMPTS PLEASE.

    Bromide drag? Sprockets holes?

Looks like you agitated too fast. I was taught by a printer called Les McLean to take long slow sweeping arcs and to give a 1/4 rotation as I turned. The Blacks also look a bit grey so maybe a slightly longer development time.

Loading 35mm cassette from bulk film

Checkout the bulk loader on the "Jack the Hat " website it's more expensive than most but once loaded it's very easy to use and it has a dial to give you information on film left. I have 3 off these after having real problems with standard bulk loaders

medium format lovers - portable medium format 120 camera

I think your asking a lot from a 120mm camera. Most of your options are folders if you want pocket sized but these are from 60 - 70yrs ago so the lenses aren't very fast about F3.5 - F4 with only a few exceptions. I have a Franka Solida II rangefinder which is a nice camera and takes excellent...

Camera decision - Folder or Fuji?

The choice is always yours but this looks really rough and I'd be suspicious of the the reddish rust colour on the rear of the lens. I've use a Fuji GW690 II and it was a great camera. Personally I'd talk to Andysnap about his GW690 III it could be a far better investment

Jupiter 9 on Zorki 5 - should the rangefinder still work?

Not sure whats going on here it seems it should work maybe it is a problem with the lens itself.

Jupiter 9 on Zorki 5 - should the rangefinder still work?

A question Simon, 1. Does the Zorki 5 work with other lenses? - If it does my guess is a problem with the Jupiter lens I'm not familiar with the Zorki 5 but most range finders have 2 windows visible at the front and in the viewfinder you see a small square / diamond shape which changes as the...

Hi Andy, its worth talking to Ilford they do a run once a year on unusual film sizes and 127 is one of these sizes. They make a run of a certain amount and that's it for the year so once its sold its no more till next year. Last I heard the run for this year has just happened or is about to...

    Bronica Medium Format Owners Thread

I bought a SQ Ai as my first MF camera about 18mhs ago and have loved using it. Since then I've bought and sold a mamiya 645 because it wasn't a patch on my SQ .. IMHO. Having a forum specially for Bronica will be a great asset as there are few places to go to ask for advice other than owners...

    Film developing

Look up AG Photographic they have a really cheap service that's given me good results. Only slight problem is they are not a fast service so allow about a week for turn around http://www.ag-photolab.co.uk/

    Great new product

This was an 1 April spoof, using a spray can and roll of film to get a picture. All you had to do was spray the film and stand motionless for 24hrs simple
