I have just got a Samyang 12. The main issue you should be aware of is that it is a fully manual lens with no electrical interface to the camera so any in camera adjustments will not be made. However that aside I find it easy to use with the f stop selection ring being positive and easy to see...
Being a cameraphile i am seeking opinions on "must have" accesories for my newly aquired X-E1.
The camera has a spare battery and is complete with the 18-55 lens.
I was thinking of wrist strap... Which one?
1/2 case again which one?
As RLJ say make sure whatever make you go for, that they have electrical connections to allow the camera to communicate the lens for bot f stops and focusing etc.
I guess the cheaper ones are just the hollow tube variety.
I also use energizer in my flash as well as other equipment such as apple key board and trackpad.
They seem to hold their charge for a long time and have never let me down to date.
hope this helps.
I have the giotto vitruvian with a ball head, light and compact seems to do the job. Leg comes off to form a monopod.
However does creep when loaded with heavy lens.
