    Review RF602 Triggers Review

I haven't tried the 602s to trigger my camera yet, I use the YongNuo dedicated triggers (which FITP is kind enough to sell right here ;) ). They're much cheaper (£16 for the kit, instead of £30 for a Tx Rx kit) and I've never missed a shot. Then Tx in camera hotshoe to control flashes. Range...

My Little'un, almost 1 year old

Cracking eyes! Been looking through the forum to find ideas for photos of my little guy - yours is winning so far!

Part 2 - More visions of Torridon

Awesome. What lens did you use for #5?

Westminster Bridge and Big Ben Tonemapped.

Yup, looks like a painting (and thankfully not like an HDR, if you know what I mean ;) ). Great job, and great restraint on the "Strength" slider :)

    The Lighthouse at New Brighton

I like what you've done. Great feel. That said, there is a bit of a wonk on the go, and a thin black line of the right of the lighthouse(?) Is that overzealous PP, or is my monitor going? Either way, I'd be proud to have taken that.

Port Glasgow disused jetty at dusk

Beautiful colours, great detail on the jetty, good use of long exposure. That could happily go in a (large) sitting room.

    Warm light .. Cold fingers

Hurrah! A scenic shot where the horizon is bang on centre and it works! I like bendy rules. Great shot for a quick handheld record. I love the light and the clouds.

    Bamburgh Castle

I love the compositions. I assume you were going for a dark castle against a light foreground? #1's foreground is distracting for me, prefer the balance in #2, 3.

Helsinki City HDR's (My first calendar)

Where's that emoticon gone? Hang on, found it. :gag: Oh, and :cuckoo: for good measure.

1st lens required for my new to me D200

Wack: Huh? Jontymo: The 18-70 is a great starter lens. Then have a look at a 50mm prime (£85 new or £50 if you're patient here).

    Ben Nevis

There's so much to look at there! The clouds feels very PP'ed, but that adds to the overall mood nicely, esp. since the foreground is pretty much black. The guy looking on really makes it. Great B&W.

    local pond...

I like the adjusted photo's trees. Obv. you're just playing with a concept, since the horizon is halo'ed, but the trees look much better.

    Buttermere was calm today

I prefer #2's composition, but I like the transparent water in #1. Stronger sky or morning/evening light could help it more. Which direction does the sun rise/set? If it's over your shoulder then I must get up there! ;) Beautiful either way.

Lowepro Vertex 300 Pro Bag £69.99 NEW!

Thanks mate, Just ordered the Fastpack 350. Nearly got the Primus, but then saw a review where they said you can't get a D200 with grip out the fast access panel.
