As others have said, for a bunch of photos I use the USB cable, although still find it a bit of a pain as it seems very slow to find all the files. For a few that I want quickly I WhatsApp to myself - I have WhatsApp for Windows on my laptop - although it doesn't keep the original names.
Butterfly feeding on a purple bugle (ajuga) flower today at Farley Mount Country Park, Hampshire. Maybe a green-veined white or a small white? F11, ISO 400, 1/1000s, 200mm (oddish settings - I didn't want to mess about and have it fly away as usual!) And cropped.
As a society we don't accept as a valid choice excluding people simply because they have characteristics over which they have no control. It could be argued that some people live as hermits and could therefore say that they don't care about society, but I don't get the impression that this is...
A postscript: Thanks to you all for your input and suggestions. I had another play with my image but I'm afraid I'm rather stubborn - tried most of the ideas but couldn't really find anything I liked much better than my original, other than brightening it a tiny bit and cropping off a (very)...
I posted an image on one of the photo sharing forums, asked for critique and got lots of helpful replies. I added a general thank you post, but I wondered whether I should like all the replies or if that's overkill. Is there a general do/don't expectation? Thanks
Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment and play with the image. Here's a bit of info re what I did when processing the raw. Tiny rotation and a small crop, pulled more detail out of the highlights, a little out of the shadows and boosted the contrast slightly. I worry about boosting...
