Hi Mike
Good efforts - its not easy doing selfies!
#1 - its to dark to me, far to dark - re-visit your light set up, maybe just use some classic sets as available on any internet search.
You look in focus - but your wife isn't, her eyes and face are soft - revisit your aperture setting to give...
Yeah 6 is distorted a little, it was my assistants camera with a really wide lens on - don't use it often but quite liked it on this occasion.
Thanks for the feedback Nattelie
Stunning set - love the poses! #6 being my favourite pose wise.
Crops are tight - but as a set it works, maybe #6 being a little inconsistent with the first 5.
Exposure looks good, but the colours look a little inconsistent to me.
Kind regards
Ian
#1 is my favourite - them eyes! great exposure.
Quite like #2 as well, might have brought the tree slightly more into focus, but only my opinion.
I like the fact that 3 &4 - they look like they just want to carry on unwrapping presents and not "pose" for dad.
Kind regards
Ian
One from a recent engagement shoot - with the nights drawing in we really struggled to find daylight time between the 3 of us, and with me talking to much during the consultation (standard) this turned into a mainly night shoot o_O
I really missed a trick with this one - I couldn't see the...
Nice one pal - good set!
3 & 5 look a little soft around the eyes to me & possibly a little bit of plastic skin from to much sharpening & noise reduction - but could be the link etc.
Personal taste - #1 I would have opened her body up just slightly towards the camera so she isn't completely...
Cracking set Scott - really like the processing & mood.
Bottom right of number 1 - although a cracking photo, just feels a little out of place in that set.
The elastic band / whatever it is in the 2nd photograph drew my attention a little as well.
Superb stuff
Ian
Nice focus Mike - can be tricky getting these TAC sharp.
I think it may just be a touch dark as Lee has pointed out.
I quite like the person/mum in the bg with the big smile, helps set the scene to me - might have tried a few more & bring her slightly more in to focus - only slightly though...
Really appreciate all the feedback guys - I think am beginning to realise that less is more in regards to processing. I just wanted to try and create "my own look" if you know what I mean.
Think I will just concentrate on getting the photograph right from the off and stick to a more traditional...
I use the USBs from Loxley - really good quality.
I use them for prints mainly - which are excellent, but I do have a sample album with them which is really good - but it gets blown out of the contest by my GraphiStudio ones when it comes to couples choosing.
Hello
Feel like am always playing around with processing
