    Point and shoot advice

All, Need some advice? After a little point and shoot to take on holiday. Fed up of taking all the gear, worrying about it (leaving stuff in room) and carting it everywhere....etc. Anyway, don't want to spend a fortune, was looking at the Nikon s6300 and the Panasonic SZ7? Think I'm gonna go...

    Lightroom and General Cropping question

Aaahh, I see. Well there was no resize at export as I like to keep them at max size and resolution 240dpi. That way I assume that then they can be printed at whatever size from a 6x4 up to a say 14x10 or even bigger if the image will allow. Seems like the padlock is the answer to my question...

    Lightroom and General Cropping question

Hi, Something I need to understand and am failing miserably on! The cropping tool in Lightroom. You can crop to a size or leave at "Original" I assumed that if I leave at original, providing you crop dragging one of the corners e.g. keeping the aspect ratio the crop you select will...

Any web designers, need some advice??

Thanks Urban, I won't give too much away just now, but I'm looking at just bringing people together with a common interest (Not photography). I want to network people so they can discuss common issues with each other and hopefully help each other with their problems going on past experiences...

What load of B*%£*s - excuse me... Couldn't contain myself. Don't want to offend or take anything away from those guys out there, cos they ARE Heroes, everyone of them. Whether we agree with them being there or not. BUT, in effect they are like their "Holiday Snaps"! Though they are not...

Kingfishers... Where can I see one??

I'd love somewhere to see these little blighters in Essex. The ONLY place I have seen them whilst I've been fishing there TWICE (No Camera!!!) :gag: Was at the Fennes Fishery - Braintree. Main lake, around the island fishing away like no-one was there. Keep threatening to go back but they...

    Dads Laptop

I'm assuming it's Vista? Wheels, don't know how savvy you are, but I agree with the comments about PC World. You need a Whizkid to have a look at it properly before you write it off - No disrespect to yourself of course. A lot of manufacturers don't really give you good restore disks or a...
