    Aurora, Northern Scotland

I believe that with the Olympus OM-5 all you need to do is to open the shutter and watch the image come up on live view. When it looks the right exposure you then just close the shutter. Jim

    Aurora, Northern Scotland

Yes you could - good aurora have been seen as far South as Folkstone. There were some good images on the Aurorawatch site, but I can't find them now they've been transferred to flickr. http://aurorawatch.lancs.ac.uk/ Jim

    Canon system to M43

Vice versa for the room interior but in this case the window gets the highlights blown because...

    Lens fungus?

I've used this method for removing fungus (No. 3 with hydrogen peroxide and ammonia). It worked very well: http://www.ehow.com/how_7770957_clean-fungus-lens.html Jim

    IS lenses not so stable?

Doesn't surprise me in the least, and I've seen the problem mentioned before! Optical Image Stabilisation is an ugly kludge - a legacy from film days when there was no other way to do the job. If Canon and Nikon were to start again with a clean drawing board they would use In Body Image...
