    Bees

Wow, incredible! Always been tempted to get an MPE but not sure how much use I'd get out of it. What a wonderful artistic set out of a lens that could risk being perhaps a bit clinical in the wrong hands! Well done

October : last shots in flight at insects

I have never managed to get one like these, despite trying. Seriously well done! I also have to ask, what camera and lens did you use?

    Coal Tit (BIF)

Lovely shot :) Where was it taken?

    Cat in a tree

I tweaked the green channel a little, I didn't intend to alter his eye colour, it's naturally more yellow than the photo, but I quite liked the effect. Think it's too much?

    HDR - Marmite time

The HDR is cool! I rather like the over-saturated bushes and the slightly dreamlike quality from being handheld.

Can you do close up with a 70-200? I think so

Even at 1.2 metres that is very impressive resolution, assuming you didn't find a giant mutant strawberry  For me the appeal of the (L series) 70-200 plus tubes is that it gave a really cool bokeh, with that typical very rich saturated L colour rendition while the subject was nice and...

Can you do close up with a 70-200? I think so

The detail in that shot is great. How cropped is it? Unfortunately the slugs beat me to our strawberry plants this year. If you're interested in macro it's also worth trying a set of extension tubes, I got some great close-ups with a cheap set of tubes and my 70–200 mm, of course at the...

    The Spider and the Fly

Love the shot of the fly. Can be hard to capture those guys, they're so skittish! Looks like he was busy redigesting dinner...

    Infinity Bridge Stockton

Wow that's a great series! Never really been interested in Sony personally, but those shots from the NEX are excellent. I particularly like the colours. Thanks for sharing

    A wander around London

Loving that shallow depth of field, and of course a classic field of view. Would really like to get a 50mm f/1.4 and 5D at some point, clearly an awesome combination!

    bearded dragon

I like the first one, but being critical it is a little noisy. Maybe have a look at this in post processing? Not sure about the second one, I think the tighter crop on the head works better as this is where the more interesting detailed features are. Also looks a bit under exposed to my eye...

    Cat in a tree

He is! Sadly not mine but very friendly and mischievous :)

    Cat in a tree

Is ok for me but I've uploaded with my iPad, through photobucket; haven't tried this app before and something might have gone a bit wrong... Can anyone else see a cat in a tree?!
