    Versatile travel camera?

i would mainly use a kit lens (18-55mm) but would like to have a very wide angle/fisheye and possibly something with longer range.

    Versatile travel camera?

My current travel camera is a Panasonic LX100 MK1. It has a flash and i have some screw on ND filters and a mini pocket tripod which has done me well over the years when going abroad on city breaks. However, the fixed lens does pain me slightly and i was wondering what a better alternative would...

    The usual Glencoe etc shots

    The usual Glencoe etc shots

Unfortunately the deer shots are a bit of a cheat as its a semi-wild one that hangs around the hotel in Glencoe. The weather was awful for the 4 days we were up there and it was too dull and dank on the mountains to get anything worthwhile.

    Same again Squire

Really struggled with low light in this pub in Glencoe. I thought the guy had loads of character. I haven’t bothered cleaning up the noise and it’s a bit soft also. Taken with a Nikon D500 and Nikon 80-200 F2.8.

    Beginner Beginners advice

Do you need a long zoom lens? If it’s just city stuff you’re snapping, the Panasonic LX100 is superb. I’ve taken mine to New York, Poland, Italy, Singapore and many other city breaks and it’s been faultless. It has the same functionality of a full size DSLR, but can fit in the pocket. You can...
