I've sent her some of the recommendations! From the ones posted and the ones open to her I think aperture books looks the best? For the price, blurb looks decent too!
Thanks everyone for your help
Yeah, she's using a proper photographer, but I think the quoted price for an album was a silly price!
She's not on that tight a budget and will most likely get it done in the months following her wedding.
I'm guessing places like blurb are not up to par then?
Hi all, my friend is doing the usual of hiring a wedding photographer and getting the images on a disk to save a bit of money!
She asked if I knew anywhere to get an album made!
I've had a look through previous threads but most of the best ones seem to be for professional photographers only...
Yeah I took delivery of a new Calumet one yesterday. It's just annoying that it breaks when nothing has happened to it, never dropped, used regularly, always kept in the bag etc.
Well I left it turned on for 30 mins....nothing
I left it on over night.....nothing :(
How much roughly do you think it would cost to get repaired?? and who is best to send it to?
It's weird, when you first turn the head on it flashes but then will not flash anymore. This happens everytime. The modelling light doesn't dim when you press the test button and the unit was used the day before and before that was about 2-3 weeks prior
The flash tube is fine as it works in...
I have 3 x Interfit ex150 mkiii and so far they have performed well for my needs.

I got up this morning and turned them on, model lights etc came on...
The studio lights will need a PC lead to attach your 622n and then the other one will sit on your camera. Studio lights aren't all that different in setup so you should be fine.
Cheers for this Gary, I've just been asked to do some photos of a handmade childs stool and was wondering how to best light it.
The equipment I have to use is:
3 studio lights
1 Yongnuo yn568ex speedlite
90x60 softbox
120cm octabox
160x35 strip light
80cm octabox for the speedlite

I got the ishoot 80cm one from ebay that I thought was very good. Umbrella style too so easy to put up and down. The Cotswold ones aren't bad either but I preferred the mounting style of the others
I use the f8/f11 method and it works for me.
I use 2 x studio strobes in my hilite but wondered how others place them? I've tried all sorts...pointing to opposite back corner, one high one low, both pointing each other etc. I also put a reflector on each light.
How do others place them to get...
