    A shot of Ant and his son George. Because the family venue was in a village hall with a high ceiling I nicked my wife’s frying pan splatter guard and mocked it up on my flash head to give a diffused bounce beam! I think it worked quite well.

    This is my setup, it consists of a 40D with an broken 18-55 lens mounted in reverse with a plastic milk carton over my 580 EX 11 as a diffuser! It seems to work but with a minute DOF. Click the photos for a larger rendition and much better detail!

    I have been having trouble with my 40D, the shutter has been playing up and nor working properly in any of the creative mode settings, I have to press the shutter button twice to get it to work! On investigating it turn’s out the custom function, C.Fn 111 -7 Mirror lockup had been enabled, now...
