Hi all, I'm looking for some plumbing advice...
I have had a wet underfloor heating system fitted earlier in the year. The UFH does all of downstairs and we still have the conventional radiator system upstairs. I have had the plumber fit a relay so that when only the downstairs is calling for...
I treated myself on the weekend to a Mercedes CLS. Took her out last night to get a decent photo. This is a stich of multiple shots from my Fuji X-T1 with the 56mm @ F1.2, I'll be honest. The effect is lost on this image. I should have just shot it with my 23mm 1.4.
C+C Welcome.
p.s. Yes...
Thanks all. I have decided to stick with the folders as date format. Each event has it's own collection. This is how I've done it up until now so I'll just keep it this way. Renaming the folder structure is too much trouble considering they are already set out in individual collections. My...
I'll be copying it all onto an external hard drive and copying the catalog across too so all I will need to link will be the top folder. The more I look into it the more frustrating it gets as I can currently find anything I want, it's just a mess. If my wife was ever to look for a specific...
I'm beginning to realise that date based folders aren't the best, I have my collections laid out like how my folders should be and for the last 4/5 years, I've pretty much let lightroom name all of my folders by date. I'm thinking that it'd be best to go through the lot and sort them all out by...
Hi all.
I'm about to replace my PC with an iMac and I'm going to take all of my photos off the pc's hard drive and put them on to one 4tb external drive which I will access from my iMac and MacBook.
Currently I have about 4 different drives all with different photos on them. I'd like to...
As above, I travel to the parents home. It's easier for them and less stressful.
I'm relaxed when I arrive, set up slowly, let the baby have a feed and a change. I'll tell the parents before that I won't finish until I'm happy with the photos, sometimes this can take a few hours if the baby is...
If you go for the sliding doors, I'd highly recommend the soft close option. With this and the wardrobe secured to the wall it is a good quality unit.
I spent the extra few quid and filled all of the holes inside too so there aren't any drillings to be seen when opened.
I had 2 D7000's. Used to run them as a pair for shooting weddings. I loved the feel and setup of the D7k. Mine almost always had the 35mm f1.8 prime attached to it. Great combo!
I'm looking at a selphy printer to go with my portable studio set-up. The only thing that turns me off is the 50 second print time. Would be interested to hear opinions on it.
