As long as the camera is correctly exposed then ISO 6400 is a breeze especially when using something like DXO PureRAW - under-expose and you start to run into issues.
IMO F8 is toital overkill for street on a 23mm lens, you may be surprised how much of the scene is in focus at F4
On the X100F I used to use F4 Auto ISO to 6400 min shutter speed 1/200th - semed to work pretty well. I appreciate that at 23mm focal length F4 would work quite well, but at 40mm I would have thought that F5.6 would do the job on a crop sensor, giving a further stop of light (over F8)
