    Problem with a Loxley order

They did a poor job printing an image for me and replaced it when I got in touch to complain. Fair enough but not sure if QC has been slackened.

    Officiant ruins wedding.

What an arrogant tool. EDIT: Just to add I use a blimp for my production stills work, I wonder if anyone would use one for a wedding. (I've used one for a conference before). They're fairly cumbersome and not ideal but maybe a good idea if you're snapping around the sensitive.

    Second go at levitation

    They're both fantastic, great work.

    Film Developing in the UK

Dropped my film into my local pro lab (DS Colour Labs), cost me £4 more than if I had've sent it in via mail order! Cost was £15.49 for 24 exposures, 35mm film, 7x5 prints and a basic scan to disc, 4 day turnaround. On the plus side the shop assistants were really nice and the results were...

    New processing style

I liked the 3rd image of your first post the most. Are you shooting digital? It's nice to roughen up the completeness of a digital image. Do you shoot film also?

    Going to a wedding...

Would you not have more fun with a pocket-camera? I've got my Canon S95 as my family/friends camera (or it might be I'm just lazy!)

    wedding pics

I took a Canon IXUS 400 along to my friend's wedding a few years back and ended up taking a shot of them during the first dance....that was the main pic they ended up framing in their front room! If I'm not doing a paid job, I like to travel light (a Canon S95). Happy shooting, if I were you...

Wedding snaps from a Fuji X100s

Interesting! I generally use two DSLRs at a time but I did ponder the idea of having a third. I'll usually use a zoom and a prime on the go but to have a (lightweight) 35mm equivalent would be handy (I've got 24, 50, 60 and 85 primes alongside my holy trinity of zooms). I was toying with the...

Wedding snaps from a Fuji X100s

Just to note, said photographer was tagging along with the official wedding photographer but I'm very impressed with what he came up with, some are as good as if not better than some of the DSLR work I've done.

Wedding snaps from a Fuji X100s

I've been reading up about this camera and I definitely think it's going to be my next purchase. I've stepped out of wedding photography but I think it's a great compliment to the work I do (I was curious about the first iteration but never really got round to considering it a serious purchase...

    Whilst browsing eBay...

Off-topic but I spent about a month going back and forth with Ebay when they removed an item of mine for sale. They admitted they hadn't looked at the item they'd removed, didn't actually know what the rights of third parties were (their actual words) and said they were lawfully obliged to...

Martin Parr, love him or hate him?

Not for me. (but wouldn't go quite as far as to say that I "hate" him! that's a bit harsh!)

    Portfolio for university interviews.

I used my iPad and an A4 portfolio in a business meeting and it went really well. It was a little old school to use the portfolio but I really liked the prints!

    Second Wedding. Ever.

The first few shots inside the marquee, wow. The images popped. I really wanted to see more of those kind of shots in all honesty (the images from the love food festival is a good contrast - lovely bright colours). That isn't to say the subdued post-processing doesn't work, the shot of the...

    Second Wedding. Ever.

Really like the name of your website, very trendy branding. Your style's very fashion-wedding-photographer, a bit like Anna Hardy, great shots but I think you should let the colours pop a lot more (I got very excited when they did!) Great work.
