looks a lot softer here than in the original..but anyway, an impromptu walk around Glenveagh National Park. Weather looked drab so never thought i'd get anything, was pleasantly surprised with this one.
thanks everyone. the weather was somewhat changeable on the hike - sun, rain, sleet, then thick mist at the top. there aren't many photos which stand out - gradually going through them but pesky things like family and work get in the way....

a shame about the light pollution from Amble and Alnmouth..
The weather in Donegal has been great the past few days so managed to slip out yesterday evening for a few shots...the majority weren't the best..but 2 came out ok.
Have been in Donegal for a fair few months now and getting some good locations stored away for future reference. the bottom...
very envious, Northern lights, Milky Way...nice shot..agree with Adrian, cropping the posts may be advantageous.
is that light pollution just above the horizon? seems to be an orange tint
reworked image. it seems as though the excessive tones came about from the sharpness layer i added - it didn't seem that bad on my laptop, but there you go. sharpness layer removed and yellow saturation reduced.
i want to say the bodies of all the scots and english who fought over the land a few hundred year ago but that would be a lie...
just tree roots that have grown around and now have a thick carpet of moss over the top. when i walked through some (at a later stage in the hike) my foot sank about...
same as all the other comments. fantastic rays and details on the ground. this is personal preference of course, but i wonder if the shot could be improved if the foreground was cropped out (the bottom inch or so of the photo).
