I agree vultures are one of the most maligned birds but I also like them and they play a vital role in the ecosystem.
Sadly all but 1 species of vultures of South Africa are endangered or critically endangered mainly due traditional medicine and witchcraft, but also poachers...
Thank you, it is a very rewarding and interesting work but also depressing at times when you find snared or poached animals and realise that so many animals have become threatened and endangered.
