    I used to be in the military so all of me wants to call it my weapon but that doesn't go over so well in civilian life... So I'm at a loss of what to call them. When in basic training if you called your M-16 a gun you did a heck of allot of push-ups! My arms still remember very well. Renee

    HIMUPNORTH, you're definitely right! My camera has done very well. I was pretty far away, too far for the built-in flash. Without a reflective screen, is there a way to fix the shadows in post? Thanks for the compliment!

    Thanks for all the great comments! I saw the scene and wanted to get it so quick that I just grabbed the camera and started shooting. I've been playing with the camera settings, but I don't quite have the confidence to know where I should put the aperture and shutter, and still get a decent...

    I put this one up because I really like the contrast between the red and the green. I feel like this is the first quality photo I took after getting my first DSLR. (350D). I cropped it down and boosted saturation, I hope not too much. I've been seeing the "rule of thirds" over and over...

    This is what I thought was a cool scene at an outdoor market. I really liked the colors, but the lighting was not all that great. I would like to get into street photography, do you think I'm on the right track? Thanks
