Some great snaps there, I live only 5 mins away from the Pier. West Pier was burnt down in 2003, it was on fire for days.

Personally I wouldn't convert images of car's into HDR's... I don't think it works at all. Very rarely it works on landscapes, but vehicles is a big no no. Thats just my personal opinion.

Thanks guys. Basically i just set the camera up down a track in Woodingdean which is in East Brighton. F3.2, ISO 80 and exposure set at between 20 and 25 seconds. Set the self timer for 2 seconds, pressed the button and walked away in case the camera itself triggered a strike!

This image is straight from the camera. Only thing that i've done with it is crop it and gave it a border... Was very lucky to be so close to this lightning strike as the storm raged over Brighton for over 3 hours before moving on East over to Newhaven/Eastbourne way. Got a few other shots...

Nice shot, but I agree with Stevie (above). The image would benfit a slight tweak with the rotation tool to straighten it a bit :)

Hove? erm no... Portsmouth :) Settings wise I was extremely annoyed with myself as I forgot to lower the ISO down. So some of the images I took were useless. From memory I believe it was F3.2 and exposure wise I think I had it set at 10-15 seconds. Thanks :)

Took a drive with some friends the other evening to Portsmouth and took some shots. Got this one from Port Solent... Haven't really done much to it, it pretty much looked like this straight from the camera :) Don't know what drew me to shoot them, only the sharpness of the water and...
