I've never used the 50mm 1.4 but my 50mm 1.8 has been in retirement since i got my 17-55 well over a year ago

I think i'll get his scalextric digital out next, some of his LeMans cars look pretty good ;)

No3 for me Its the look of "are you finished yet?" that makes me smile. How you finding that lens? I've had my eye on it recently since I cant afford/justify the 70-200 2.8 IS.

My little boy collects "go go crazy bones" so decided to take a few pics while he had his little army lined up. taken with ef-s 17-55 on a 50D with flash after a quick lesson on subject placement by a six year old I've not used my camera for ages due to lack of motivation so...

I have the ef-s 17-55m 2.8 IS on mine

This lens any good on a 50D?

No info on the lens as im a canon user but when i had a reef tank years ago a macro was only any good for taking pics of corals etc(relatively still creatures). Especially if you have adequate flow in the tank most fish have to make an effort to get anywhere and I found it easier using my 18-55...

I got the lowepro 300 aw mentioned above for about £73 delivered from WHE. Got a 50d with 17-55 lens attached, 100mm macro, nifty fifty, speedlite and still plenty of space for more when the lens prices come back to reality. sounds about right for you ;)

Yeah was pretty cool. He took the camera from someone in the crowd and then spun about the road pointing it out so somebody got a nice vid or pics :) From Glasgow mate but live in brechin. Can you link me to the spotted a tog thread? Cheers for looking guys :thumbs:
