    L-Mount Alliance Owners Thread

Hi Sam, how do you find that lens, balance and performance wise, with the S5? Hi Adam, I’m not normally a kit lens type of user however this one does intrigue me…looking forward to trying it out.

Thanks for that Martin, much appreciated. AF performance not a big requirement for me, though sounds very usable all things considered. Good feedback on the 85mm, one of my favoutite focal lengths for both portrait and the occasional landscape.

Hi S5 owners...have been considering the switch to an S5 for a while now, am currently an M43 user (Pen-F) and trying to found out a bit more about the quality of the IBIS of the S5. I’d be grateful for any views on its implementation / usability. I predominantly use prime lenses so would also...

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

I don’t have to post anything thanks...saying it is very restrictive having never used the lens was a bit of a stretch. A lot of people also say the 45mm is too long for indoor shots....I’d agree but it comes down to requirements and finding the best tool for the job.

I’m a prime shooter too (predominantly). With your lens line-up I would’ve said the 75mm would be very complimentary...you may have other ideas though.

That’s a very open predicament then...best to narrow it down to what you want to use the lenses for (in an ideal world). What lens(es) do you currently have? Do you have a zoom that covers both focal lengths? If so, I’d force myself to use each focal length for a period of time to see how you...

Not to start an argument...if you’ve not used the 75mm, that’s quite the statement to make! I have both lenses...whilst the 45mm has lots going for it, price/performance in the main, the 75mm output is fabulous - particularly as a S/H buy. They are fundamentally two different tools though...

Thanks for this...I looked following your post yesterday and it showed £220 off, not £440...unless I’m missing something obvious!

Not sure what camera you're using however on my Pen-F if you press & hold the OK button it will reset the highlight/shadow settings.

    Panasonic 12-35, Aperture Noise?

With the PL25mm, I found that shooting under certain led lights made the chatter worse....didn't affect performance though.

Very expensive...spare a thought for our those based in Australia, New Zealand and Canada - those prices are even more eye-watering!

    from M4/3 to Fuji ?

I've been considering the same as the XT-2 looks a lovely camera...I'm holding firm for now though. What do you want to get out of it? As in, what benefits will the move to Fuji (or a.n.other system) give you over what you already have?

    "Panasonic G series" Owners Thread

For those interested in the GX80, the body only price seems to have dipped at a number of retailers + it is eligible for £100 cash back via Panasonic. The cheapest place at the moment is Amazon, £435 before cash back...
