Hi folks
Quick question. Can somebody recommend a decent memory card for the Z8?
I’ve not bought a memory card in years for the d800 and just wanted people’s experiences with them
Ta
Z8 coming this week. First new Nikon I’ve bought since the d800 in 2012 (still have it!)
Starting out with that FTZ with existing lenses.
Any sigma FTZ users out there? I’ve the 35/85 art and the 150-600 also.
Over time I’m sure I’ll get some native z lenses but if people have got any...
Hi good folks
I’m still shooting with a D800 I bought almost exactly 11 years ago (bargain 1800 at the time and it’s still going strong)
I think the time had come to upgrade.
Any real world experiences of the Z8?
I think I’d plan to get the ftz converter to use my current lenses and slowly...
Yeah, I used to like drawing little pics and thinking about where I wanted the lights, what modifier to use and what lens/backdrop.

Great Question
I find myself always drawn to portraits (people/pets) but every now and then like to dabble with something different.

Had my nephew come up at Xmas so we took a couple of shots. Quickly done in the front room as it was painted a...
What a great thread and spreadsheet!
Just re-engaging with photography. Quickly realising that having physical photos is SO much better. Have treated myself to a printer and am looking forward to getting started
Got lucky with how the tiger flopped in the wildlife park! The spaniel portrait was planned with the help of my daughter (she kept his attention). Might be the photo I use to trial my new home printer!
Thank you. It was one where I was excited by the back of the camera image. It turned out better than I’d planned. Had the black backdrop and a couple of lights. Most importantly I had a little helper to help get the attention of our dog!
The sparrow was through a kitchen window when I first got...
No Chance!! Was at a conference at the Yorkshire wildlife park - took the signs 150-600 as if not really shot with it very much. The tiger just happened to be sat in a good position so I clicked a couple of shots!
The second spaniel shot is the iPhone one
