I agree with h.p. about the crop / colours, handsome boy looking rather noble, well captured - works for me.

I tried to capture similar pics of my mutt. He was too quick - they were poor. So Im impressed with these, good job. I now feel I should have another go !

Mrs Stow is phobic about rats............. I however, am not. I think he looks good, particularly in the first. Not a shabby effort as lets be right, as a rat, he'll never appeal to Mrs Stow or her ilk. For me good pics. :D:D

I want to replicate the bits that make me like it, but correct the 'errors' as outlined above. I'm struggling to put my finger on what's good though. Perhaps the majority opinion will be it's poor & not worth replicating, in either way, any more comments welcome !

Thanks I agree, you've accurately explained its' faults. What I struggle with more is why I like it. Someone posted a pic of a toy car in transport, & it was excellent, but despite the subject being of no interest I felt I'd of been happy to have it on my wall ! This is not a 'technically'...

Now nearly 2, I don't know why Mrs Stow really likes this pic. I do too but don't really know why either. Critique / advice welcome. This is just as I took it & somehow captures something of his personality I feel. Perhaps someone can shoot it down or tell me why it works (it does for me)

God is kind............ if they weren't £1500 more than one would end up coming home! I think I've had too many Boxers though, all these gorgeous dogs all look to me to have naughtiness in mind........

1 & 4 Are the best for me though the sign / notice in 1 'draw the eye' & are rather distracting. In 4 the car appears to be 'driving out of frame', I find the others far too busy I'm afraid. On a brighter note you'd have to be really talented to make a Smart look good !:D:D:D

I liked the photos until I read the comments! I feel like I've been in class & teacher has told us where the mistakes are. I agree with much of what's been said, & have taken it on board. For example, although I don't have an Aston even with my Focus it wouldn't seem right 'in the country'...
