It would be nice if the light was better balanced. It's a bit too harsh and direct.

Very much worth the effort, bro.

    What I've been doing...

Hi gang! I know that I completely fell off the map, but life sorta happened and I didn't pick up my camera for months. In fact, I've been back painting and trying to explore now ideas. I spent a few weeks fascinated by the UFO/UAP phenomenon, which inspired an idea for a big painting. This is...

Cannot remove rich tooltips PS beta

I'm trying to experiment with the beta version of PS, but I can't disable the stupid rich tooltips that sit obtrusively over the top of the interface. I've tried the preferences -> tools -> uncheck rich tools route, but it's still there making workflow impossible. Any ideas?

    Sorry, Old Chap, Must Dash

Now that’s a well knotted tie.

I much prefer this one and although Simon is correct about some of the shadows, I think they're well enough controlled to make it work. Nice one!

On the table with a strip light

I quite like this one, Neil. The one thing that stands out is that if her arms were crossed over the other way it would be less tense.

    Darkness

This is a great example of when hair in front of the face works. I don’t know if it was an accident, but the strands falling over Em’s right eye adds something to this, Gav. Nice work!

    She smiles

It’ll begin to seep in and become second nature. Always look for tension.

    She smiles

Yes, it’s not about the hands holding the jacket, but more about the tension in them. Definitely heading in the right direction though!

    She smiles

Her hair is a bit distracting, and her hands are a bit tense holding the jacket, but apart from that I like it, buddy. Good job!

    Greta - Vilnius - Lithuania

I love the framing of five and six, but my favourite is the last one. It’s the best story.

    Windy day

I love the slightly abstract nature of this.
