    Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM

Have any of you watched those unboxing videos on Youtube? People spend ages videoing themselves opening a new product and showing the viewer all the included accessories. Anyway, I am considering buying a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM to replace my ageing 24-105mm and came across this video...

    Cheap Photo Studio Backdrop

Amazing value but I suspect you'll be able to spit through the white backdrop. Unless it's a good thick backdrop I would forget it (although it's still relatively cheap for the support system alone). I have one of these and it's excellent.

    Long Lens (300mm) opinions please!

Forget the Canon 300mm f2.8, even as a future purchase. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would choose a 300mm f2.8 over the 300mm f4 for aviation photography. 1. Today's DSLRs are so good at high ISO that 1 stop won't make a blind bit of difference for aircraft photos unless...

    Canon EF 200mm 2.8 L

The 200mm f2.8L is my favourite lens of all. It's small, light and has outstanding image quality. It works very well indeed with the 1.4x, even wide open. It lacks IS which is a shame but other than that it is exceptional. I also have the 300mm f4 so I rarely need to use the 1.4x on my 200mm...

Canon EOS - Nikon lens adapter

Hi, I'm just wondering if any of you have tried one of these new adapters. They allow the use of Ai and G mount Nikon lenses to be used on Canon EOS. Unlike other adapters, it has a control that allows the aperture to be adjusted on G lenses without an aperture ring. They sound really good...

I hope you don't mind but I'm bumping this thread for the last time as it's important. Can anyone else on here offer to post the link to this video on their website or Facebook page? It will cost you nothing but will do a lot of good for this charitable cause. Please help, many thanks. :)

Short film made with Canon 5DII. Cumbrian Floods - Please help!

Big thanks to Richard and Candlestick! It really does mean a lot to me when people post it on Facebook etc. It's such an easy thing to do but many people are just viewing this thread and then passing on by. I have tried posting this on the Amateur Photographer forum today but they pulled the...

Woah, this place is a very small world! I vaguely remember your visit (business is so brisk now that I have a hard job remembering each transaction!)
