hi all aron aka essexmole here a experienced photographer of 25 years
i photo anything especially if its historical forgotten about or unique.
ive been a urban and underground explorer for over 10 years and photographed some amazing places i also like to photograph butterflies and other animals as you will see from some of my posts when i upload them i try to get some unusual angles and close ups

Would`nt it be better if all new members who posted in this section were to add their Location, like some do, this way an existing Member can see if the newbie is local to them and possibly contact them.

Hi I'm Ross, from Pontypridd South Wales, just getting back in to photography hope to get to know all of you or some of you in the near future.

Hi my name is Dirk and I live in Cape Town, South Africa and i look forward to being part of this forum.

Hi, Ken form near Leeds UK, want to improve my skills now I have a good camera, quite like trying out vintage lens, etc as reminds me of the 1980's when I last had a good quality SLR with interchangeable lens, (an Oloympus OM10), however the cost of taking film pictures was so high it was not used that much. Hooray for digital, and unlimited shots until you get one right!

Hi !
I am wondering if there is a hands on photography class for the basics. I live in So. California, in the Orange County area. I have looked all over and have found a few but does anyone have suggestions?
I have a Nikon D5100.

Hi Shakilearl,
Thank you for the welcome! I haven't been on this site for awhile. I think I have been missing out on learning some interesting photography information.

Hi all

Hi from the far south west of England. I am based in Penwithick near St Austell in Cornwall. I shoot film in Nikon, Leica and Olympus cameras and have an interest in collecting all the cameras that I could never afford before the digital revolution. Especially Nikon pro models . I develop my own film and shoot Ilford HP5+ and Kodak Tri-X mostly. I have a long time interest in darkroom work, but these days I scan my negs and have adapted to a hybrid workflow.

welcome from another 'Film Fan' in Darkest Essex !

just a reminder folks, this isn't really the place to ask gear related (or other) questions. Please post them in the appropriate area of the main forum.

cheers (y)

Put myself on the map but didn't change the colour, I should be Blue not red.

Hullo all, I just joined, I am George II aka George Cole, AKA the "G" I reside in Fayetteville, Georgia, 12 miles south of the Atlanta Airport in the USA. I am retired and getting back into photography, I want to learn all I can to enjoy the hobby. I own a simple Canon 550D and even though it is a beginners camera it is smarter than I am, but then again 99% of the world is smarter than me so with that being said please be gentle...

Hi all. I've decided to change my 400d and have found this forum which I am hoping will help me best decide which one to change to
