Yes
Just picked one of these up with built in hd camera..ok so its not a phantom but looks like a lot of fun for £64!

Be interested to see what your thoughts are Stuart. They look tiny so I have concerns over the effect of wind but can't complain at the price. I've been tempted to get a quad before but had looked in the past pre phantom and they were pretty expensive for ones that could carry a camera/ go pro- even the phantom is a bit dear unless there's some real ROI from it for me.
They all look great fun though- I'm sure I could get in so much trouble doing test flights in the house:D

haha- it's totally dinky and well speedy.

I can see the problems an out of control phantom could cause lol

Quality seems good considering the price. Tempting:)

Excellent now up to the Dunstable Downs..... lol

Look forward to seeing results. :p

That's good, I quite fancy one of them. It's a bit smaller than this....

But can it do this.......?

Just seen a video of the phantom2 vision+!!!! Would love one of those, particularly like that auto pilot engages as soon as you stop doing anything to focus on video/photo. Wish I had the money :(

Quick vid of mine little while ago..getting used to it slowly.Bare in mind this is result of probably less than an hours flying time having never flown before let alone a 4 channel quad.

Good stuff Stuart- you were looking fairly competent- at least up to the wall introduction:p. Thanks for site confirmation- must say I was looking everywhere and had been on their site but thought that can't be it as its not £64 lol. Think I'll get one ordered up- I'm in two minds whether to go for one without a camera just to use as practice with a view to getting a much bigger one in a couple of months once I've mastered it a bit or just get the camera one and a gopro carrying one later:D

Do you get extra propeller blades or worth buying more at same time?

lol..cheers mate. They price matched a place called wireless madness who sell it at £64.99.I was going to get one without camera but for the small extra I decided to go for it.Glad I did as its great fun! You get a spare set of blades plus a prop protector.I would recommend extra batteries as flight time is short approx 7 minutes.

how cool is that nice video as well how fast is that its a nippy little thing aint it not bad for that price i was gonna get the chopper but i think i might get that instead how much video can it record

Records on to sd mate so depends what size card you use...I also looked at the helicopters but these seem more fun!

cool how long is the flying time they only have small amount like 5 mins aint it?

Yes mate I have had about 8 mins from mine on full charge without the prop guard on.

 disaster!!

You just can't get the staff anymore- good point though, my dogs are not renowned for their understanding of important kit:D

It was on charge at the time on a unit!..still flies ok and camera still works.Few repairs and its good as new almost!!lol

i just got myself the one with video function the 0.3mp version (£49.99)
just had a few fun test flights in the living room
it has loads of down draft which is surprising from such a small thing

Anyone know what the score is with CAA licences for flying these things ? At what point, size, height do you need one ?

Nice one Martin..also dont hold it and accidently knock the throttle up!Hurts like hell on the fingers lol..

Nick I keep seeing the 400ft marker mentioned in videos I have seen.

I've finally got it set up so the controls match the movements
couldn't get the hang of it in reverse set-up (even though on battlefield 3/4 im fine flying the helicopters)
had it stick to the ceiling a few times to then drop fast after loosing the vacuum effect by throttling down
wife's face says it all though

I did very little to mine apart from basic calibration out the box and it was fine although did have a few of those stuck to ceiling moments lol..Now requires a bit of care and trim altering after the dog chewed it but at least it works.

Also still trying to get it to calibrate as I still get a slight bit of drift
The left stick bottom right , right stick left and right doesn't seem to work for me
At least I'm not the only one sticking it to the ceiling

I also have my 3 year old wanting to try it

It should do mate..connect the husban so lights are flashing then power up the controller.Hold left throttle stick bottom right and then wiggle right stick quite fast..Two front lights should flash then its calibrated the gyro,i do it before every flight

Will try again in the morning
Tried multiple times after watching loads of YouTube videos
And re reading the instructions to see if I had missed anything

You're bound by the terms of the ANO. Other then that nothing else is needed for a model of less then 20kg if you're only using do recreation. Commercial needs a licence
