2014 Photo52 Challenge : Week 52 : Support

Afternoon All :)

Right, I have caught up with commenting on people that have commented on my thread... I'm now going to whizz through some others to hopefully get me back up to date, I then hope to take a shot or two to get back up to date'ish on my images AGAIN...

Now that the busiest month of the year at work is almost over, I hope to start keeping back on top of things - Fingers Crossed :)

Hi this was my reply when asked if I was still with you all doing my 52s, thought I had better pop it on here just so everyone knew what was happening at my end.

Overbez to be honest no I am not, I help organise a rather large event here in the village where I live. It takes up almost all of my free time in the 3 weeks leading up to the event but we are almost there as the event is on this Saturday coming (30th). Once it's over normal life will resume and that includes returning to TP and all it delights. Thanks for your comments on "Half" and "Architecture" it is appreciated that you and Susiejb have taken the time to look and comment on my thread.

I might get a chance to take some photographs at the event and with some luck something relevant to the 52 themes. Anyway as Arnie famously said "I'll be back.........soon". Lol

Gonna miss the deadline for pure as there will be a new theme out today... as DK has said about the weather this also hampered my excursions this week... that and damn night shifts... ho hum. roll on a day off...
 
Well, it's Friday and I'm after right, rip-roaring theme because I've just been told the weather is going to be good this weekend (whihc means it's likely to rain!).

Week 35...I've not looked at the spreadsheet for a few weeks so not even sure how many are still with us :thinking:

Well, "flight" would do for me...... Shame we can't pick, but there's always a way to tweak your photo to the theme eh? ;)

Reckoning the holidays (school anyway) should be over soon, maybe a step back to normality for most.

There are a few blanks on the SS but I think theres to be some more catchups rather than drop outs. :)

Well mate... I think I am keeping up, and to me it looks like we have a nice consistent lag :D

Although I suspect it's an artifact 10 for Pure....can't see what it was last year as work has bloked it :thinking:

Come on Andy. After all these years of Jackie putting up with your photographic exploits the least you could do would be to buy her something sparkly on a ring for her finger. I'm sure she wouldn't mind posing for you if you did (y)

Finally...think I've managed to catch up with comments...I really need to learn to not leave it so long from now on !!

I've been struggling for inspiration and enthusiasm these last few months & now we get Sparkle.......you are 'avin a giraffe:arghh: I feel I may resort to a Joker for this , not a scooby what to shoot !!!

Good to see so many still in here...well done all & it's not long to the end now :D
 
Sparkle, hmmm....... Do I spend hours trying to light and then Photoshop some awkward shiny sparkly jewellery or whatever here, or do I finish my packing and hope that the sea in Portugal is sparkling tomorrow? Think I know the answer to that one :cool:

On a positive note, I've just opened a letter from Leeds City Credit Union informing me I've just won top prize in their lottery £1,000 :banana:

Good job really...I've booked my car in for it's MOT and full service this week and it ain't gonna be cheap :runaway:

At least I can send my lens of for repair...so overall, happy days :D

Well done Andy - super news!

Well, I'm off up the hills very shortly. Only a couple of hours drive this time, so should be setting up camp by about 7pm. Current plan is to pitch the tent on a peninsula which extends into the middle of a loch, so 360 degree water around us (no tides - at least, I hope!) so there's a chance we might get some sparkly water at sunrise tomorrow morning or even sunset tonight... a bit like Elaine's plan in Portugal but about 20 degrees colder :)

Three mountains tomorrow but hopefully done by 2pm and then home for a takeaway!

Let's also not forget the TP day photos for tomorrow, folks!
 
Thanks Andy and well done on your win! All packed up and ready for the 6am taxi now. Paul, I'll be thinking of you sitting in the middle of your cold loch when I'm having my first swim :p
