Hi all,
Been doing a little tidying up and have found about 15 35mm rolls of film from years ago. I realise I might not get any prints from them so dont want to spend a fortune......
So, any one got any tips where to send them to get developed and printed? Not looking for amazing quality, just would be interested to see whats on them if anything.
Thanks in advance.
John.

If you're not bothered about them all being developed to monochrome then I'll gladly semi stand dev them all for you in b&w chemistry, scan to a disc, and return to you along with the negatives.

Cost to you .....postage to get the films to me in France

The negs will only be stored in standard paper envelopes or similar as I have limited quantities of proper negative sleeves.

I might add that if they are colour films then the negatives will lack contrast but this can be pulled back in PP ( which i'd do at the scanning stage)

If you want a more proffessional approach then best to search out a lab, however my offer is there but with no gaurantees of decent, if any results.

I've asked the mods to move this to the film section, might get some more replies there!

Some ASDA still process, also branches of Kodak Photo Express, and Snappy Snaps. There are also often local independent photo labs.

Snappy Snaps

Kodak Express

What Paul said! ASDA will develop them if they are C41 colour neg, they will also scan them to disc, this keeps the cost down and you can then just get prints from those that you want.

Thanks all, Asha, many thanks for a great offer! I do like B+W pictures, reminds me of the pictures my dad used to take.
As Im unsure what is on the films, develop and scan to CD seems like the best option, then I can simply print any I like. I think a lot of the films were from the kids school trips so no doubt there will be lots of pictures of sky, bus seats and feet!

OK, so long as you fully understand that i'm no proffessional and make no gaurantees of results or their quality then I'm happy enough to dev the films for you.

Unless someone else comes up with an alternative solution that proves easier for you, get the films packed and bobbed in the post to me along with your contact details.

What method you choose to send them ( airmail small packets, tracked etc etc) is entirely up to you.

I'll PM you my address............

Well its a fortnight since i pm'd the OP with my postal address.

I've had no response, nor any posting in this thread to state if the films are in the post so i can only presume that my offer to help has been declined..

No issue for me whatsoever as i can put the time to better use, however @ john stevens a show of good manners with some sort of reply would have been appreciated!

I sincerely hope you have got sorted elsewhere with the film developing as my services to help you are no longer available.i'm afraid.
