Hi,

Is there such a beast available now as my Epson R300 printer is on it's last legs.

Thanks,

WG

my £60 canon IP7250 has a tray specifically for cds/dvds..
5 colour printer with dual blacks so not the best in the world but i can print a4 photo quality images quite happily on it and it has dual trays one for large size paper and one for 6x 4 and the cds'dvds..
i guess if your not printing images commercially then its worth a punt for the money.

no scanner mode.. just a plain and simple wireless/usb photo printer

Just got an Epson XP-610, scanner and printers, can also print onto dvd's, very happy with it.

I can recommend the Epson Photo 1400. A3+ and CD printing for less than £150. Excellent print quality on any medium.

Canon Pixma printers are very good (I can vouch for the IP4700, which I've had for a couple of years). It gives excellent quality photo prints, prints on blank CD/DVDs, accepts compatible ink cartridges and was reasonably priced. This model is discontinued but I recommed you take a look at the Canon Pixma iP7250 which Amazon.co.uk have on sale at £58.62

Apologies - Only just spotted Dean Messenger's recommendation of this same printer. Not quite with it today......

R2000 if you want A3+ but isn't the R300 A4?

If you want A4 look at XP860 or 760. I have to be honest I am Epson biased. I use PX860 for A4/ office use printing and it works out quite cheap using the Owl inks.
