2014 Photo52 Challenge : Week 52 : Support

Can I add my apologies. Life is getting in the way. I was aiming to do some last night but I feel asleep in front of the laptop. Anyway my fight back has started this lunchtime. More tonight hopefully. Since someone suggested it a few weeks ago I'm now concentrating on only commenting on those who have fully engaged with the challenge and are commenting on others - in particular - on mine. So no complaints from me if you are doing the same.
 
Well for all of us here, we're lucky that this photography lark is just a hobby so it simply has to fit in around important stuff like family, work (sadly) our other interests... in fact it's probably surprising it gets much time at all!

@michael23 - well done on fitting it in with a new son. Our youngest is coming up for a year and is still not reliably sleeping through the night. Complete opposite of our first who was sleeping through happily from about 4 months. They're all different! Enjoy these times though as they grow up so quickly...

Well done everyone for hanging on in there. I reckon as the dark nights start to close in, we'll all be huddled around our laptops a bit more... but let's see.

Exactly the same here my daughter was the total opposite i cant believe how much energy he has and is 2 in december. I managed a 365 of his 1st yr and a 52 ao i know it can be done. Hopefully i will catch up and stay caught up.
 
Apologies all round for my inactivity. Other things have been in the way. I have tried to keep up with comments but am about 2 weeks behind.

My own shots are 2 weeks behind, 3 with tonight.

Additionally tomorrow we fly to New York for a trip there, parts of NY state and Toronto. I may not be able to get access to the web as i don't own a smart phone.
So I may fall further behind and need a mega catch up - but I will do it.
 
Sounds awesome Alan, don't worry about us, we'll still be here when you get back.

Look forward to some pics on your return, and will brace myself for a certain amount of shoehorned shots ;)
 
Need to get communicate done there is something in the camera but not had time to deal with it. Dark sounds good to me.
 
Dark sounds good to me! I managed to do communicate this evening. I still have fall to do and lots of comments are certainly due. Maybe next week some lunchtimes will be possible...
 
Great to see so many of you still in here at this stage of the year . . . and have to confess to a smile when this theme came out.
Shame it's not a bit closer to Halloween, but really hoping to see some spooky atmospheric shots coming in.

Oh - and the project at work that's consumed my life for the last 18 months is finally finished :banana:
So I should be getting back into the routine of dropping by and commenting.

Well I am now caught back up on work stuff, have the work on my house running to plan so can now get back on with the rest of my life... Thanks to everybody that has been to my thread and made a comment, I'm now going to do some back - Catch up time :)
 
Right! Lunch is here and so I'm about to start on some commenting - Oh my goodness there are so many to catch up on! This is one mammoth task, but I'm sure I'll feel better having made a start at least.
 
I need to do a massive catch up too!
 
Gosh 3/4 way thru and I'm still here. Should anyone else quit don't blame me.

Cool not too demanding tempo on 52 for 14 at the mo. Some great contributors have abandoned us whilst some great contributors have not. (y)
 
Done a bit of a catch up again tonight on commenting on people's threads - Apologies for the tardiness. I really can't get going this year - There's a lot been going on, not all of which has been positive news unfortunately but I'm still hanging on with the 52. Just 2 weeks behind. Ideas for both but I just need some decent light. Hopefully I can get some on Saturday but I'll be 3 weeks behind by that time :rolleyes:.

On the subject, can we have a kite related theme as we're doing a display on Sunday. Anybody near Heath, just outside Wakefield, is very welcome to come with your camera and take some colourful shots at the festival. If you spot somebody looking like the dodgy character in my avatar please pop over and give me a shout. I can get you even closer to the action. (y)
 
Well done everyone...

Sadly it's my turn to not post for a while (I'm sure you're all secretly relieved!) - work has been absolutely manic - 5/6am till gone midnight every day so far :(

Except for tonight at it's 11:53 and I've finished so that's 8 minutes better! Better get the camera out ;)

It did sound good, but the move isnt going ahead now, so quite disappointed. But hey ho and on we go!
