GoPro videos corrupted

I bought a Hero 3+ Silver Edition a few weeks ago and have used it for the first time on holiday over the last couple of weeks. Got home, transferred the files to the PC and of 87 videos taken, only the first 5 work. The rest are there i.e. the file sizes correspond to the length of video but I can't play them or do anything with them. I downloaded Remo Repair Mov without any success (it doesn't support Hero 3+ footage) and I've also tried this http://grauonline.de/cms2/?page_id=5#purchase but again without any luck. It'd almost be less frustrating if the files weren't there in the first place but to see them and not be able to do anything with them is really annoying, there are 100+ JPEGS there too that I can't open either. GoPro have been stunningly silent so far.

Anyone got any ideas (the wife is decidedly unimpressed with my new purchase)...? :exit:

What memory cards are you using? Go pros are very choosy about the cards. You need to be using class 10 micro SD

I've ran CheckDisk on the card and Windows says it's fine. Think I need to resign myself to not getting the footage back. :(

Sorry @Hobby Mounts just seen your reply. No I can't play them via the app, just get an error message. I've tried rescuePRO but it doesn't help either, the files aren't missing they're there, I just can't do anything with them.

Just to resurrect this thread, I've updated the firmware, formatted the card in-camera and still the problem persists. It records the first 2 clips fine and then everything else is corrupted. Have ordered a second micro SD card to rule out the card being the problem and then it'll be back to Argos if the problem persists.

Can you transfer them from the card to the Gopro Studio? and what happens if you can/can't?

I can transfer everything, the videos are physically there, the file sizes correspond to the length of the video etc, I just get an error message when trying to play them.

New card arrived today, formatted it in-camera and have just recorded 6 videos in a row with no problems so it seems a dodgy Sandisk Ultra was the problem.

The first 5 videos worked in your 1st post :)

Further testing last night resulted in 15/15 vids recorded without a problem, none were corrupted. Seems the problem is solved. Many thanks for all the input/suggestions. :)

Theres lots of dodgy cards about, even some shops are selling fakes without knowing, send it back, if nothing else they should replace it if it's one of theirs.
