2014 Photo52 Challenge : Week 52 : Support

Ain't been easy at times...but it's also been a pleasure.

Cheers.
Never easy is it mate... plenty of uPS and DOwns - if it was easy we would still have 100+ people still in it, now wouldn't that be a nightmare keeping up with !!!!

Well I'm out tonight with Jackie and Isabelle for a curry and a few drinks

So I issue a potential rambling post alert :)

Cheers.

Oooooo lucky you, veeeeery jealous, I really fancy a curry

Have a great evening !!!!

I'll be keeping an eye out for the drivel posts, I need a laugh :D

No curry or drinkies with the wife as she's away at a Paolo Nutini concert in the Toon.

I, however, have been hillwalking for the day so have a few photos and intrigued to know what the theme for today is! Weather was pretty bad though so only managed about 3 hours of photo opps before the lens got too wet to be able to focus!

Sounds like a good day Paul... look forward to the pics (y)

OMG Two out of the bag this week. That's me 6 weeks behind - although really 5 - it's just that I haven't got the umph to post up Big to my thread.

Sorry I haven't got round to commenting either - I'll catch up in a week or two.

Evening all.....back from the curry and few beers...onto the JD, with ABBA on the TV, good times :)

Reshoot, need this one and Grow, interesting times.

Cheers all....

Welcome back Andy... sounds like Jack's about to be battered - I hope he's ready for it.

I had spicy ribs tonight - think it might be curry tomorrow night.

Dean... thanks for the vote of confidence re: pictures but sadly the conditions were pretty bad. Fine for walking but not good for photos: very overcast and we didn't start walking until quite late (10am) which meant we missed the nicer light. This is probably the prettiest picture I managed to grab but it's still a bit "meh"...

You can see the cloud and mist loitering around and spoiling my visibility!!

Maybe I should have saved last week's shot for this week o_O ... I'm flying off 'ooop north' to see my eldest son in Middlesbrough tomorrow, so hopefully will get some fresh inspiration!

Just saw your post Paul ...looks lovely to me.

When I saw the theme, I must admit my first thought was, "Susie will be delighted to get back out in the garden!" :)

Curry was very nice and I limited my intake of JD, which is why I'm up at this time on a Saturday morning :)

The photograph works for me on several levels: I like the aspect ratio, no clipped highlights (checked in LR :geek:), well composed and I'm liking the layers. Some warm sunrise/sunset light would have been very nice but it's a wall hangable photograph as it is (y)

Sorry...been a bit slack as been an odd week , too knackered when I get in to do much & I actually went out last night for the 1st time in wayyyyy too long ! I have my Grow shot in camera...just struggling to get motivated enough to get it edited & posted :(

Out on the town or togging?

Christmas Shopping !!!!

I wish.... Hmmmmm hang on, does that mean I can don my Christmas hat again :)

Jackie and isabelle made me buy a Christmas jumper at the weekend. I was not a happy bunny, but hopefully I can incorporate it into a TP theme.....):

Cheers.

That's an exciting theme - thank you Sarah :)

I'm just back from a mental week away (work) so lots of catching up on comments etc. to do.

Sorry to everyone who's commented on my thread and I haven't responded - I will do this weekend. Flights cancelled because of fog, unexpected stays in hotels when I should have been home... it's been a rough week.

Lots to catching up!

Damn and blast. Just been to see Black Stone Cherry live and never took the snapper out of my pocket.
maybe see if I can get a decent shot of Paloma Faith tomorrow.

I'm not planning any gigs so I thought I might keep an eye out for buskers. That should do ...

Only 54 shopping days till Christmas.

We're there as well tomorrow night - looking forward to it. We've already looked up the photographic rules and it's essentially phones and compacts only :(
