Yes, I bet you've all been!!

I was bored today so I went out with my 28mm lens and took these. It was thankfully very quiet as last time I went it was school holidays and the atmosphere was very different!

I was amazed and pleased to have found 'Idol Rock' - the big balancing stone.

Hi, I rather like these and Idol Rock really is amazing.

I was out there the other night with a few TP members.

Strangely enough, of the set #4 is my favourite. I really like how the plant storks guide the eye through the photograph.

Cheers.

Thanks! Yes the grass caught my eye for the same reason.

Shame I missed the TP meet there. I did see another guy with a Hasselblad there yesterday, wonder if that was anyone here?

Very nice set, I particularly like the first one and the last one.

Really like these - and no - I've never been - it's been on the list for some time though!

Thanks. It's well worth a visit. The first time I went it was school holidays and very nice weather so the vibe was quite different - this time it was dull, wet and empty, so much better!!!

It's worth having a proper explore as the area is much bigger than I first thought and there are some amazing rock formations. I saw 'Idol Rock' on the website after going the first time and I have to say the thrill of finding it and spending an hour or so capturing it, alone with just a roll of film (and a camera obviously) really reminded me about the magic of photography.

Pic #1 is now printed and hanging in my hallway :)

Cheers

Those are a great set, looks like a great place to run off a few rolls of film lots interesting shapes.

Good choice on printing. It's something I really need to do more.

Thanks! Yeah Photobox are pretty good, and something like a 60x40cm 'professional' print is about £9. They actually sent me two copies of each in error so I may give them to some poor unsuspecting family member for xmas

Love the Rock stuff. Never heard of it before. Looks like a great way to spend a few hours.
