I like the first, really tells a story to me. The second I am genuinely interested why you chose those settings, was it handheld? You could have achieved the same shutter speed with a lower ISO and larger aperture, which with a bit of tilt (can you only tilt effectively on a tripod?) would have given the required depth of field. I am asking because I intend to buy a tilt shift lens one day and I am intrigued. I like the sky on the right hand side though.

Nice! Was that a Conny Lundström trip?

There's not much snow here at all at the moment- tends to come later in Jan/Feb.

Would love to see more photos if you have any!

I know that feeling well, I visited Prague last year and chose the week where they statistically have the most snow because I wanted shots of snowy Prague. Got there at night and it was snowing :D Then the next day (and the rest of the week) it was warm and sunny, like the middle of frigging July.

Great photos, lovely work :)

Hi, I have restrictions with space hence limiting the tripod usage and both shots are handheld so tilt/shift is not ideal. Reason for f/22 was for the sun star effect.

Would be nice to spend a few days in that cabin, away from it all :)

Yes apparently you can stay in the cabin, however you need to bring your own fuel (wood burner), food, no cooking facilities... and bloody cold :D

Yes it is and the locals said it is unusual for not having snow in November!

Very nice Robin.

I can just imagine a log-burner in that we cabin and a kettle simmering away on top, bliss.

Great photography!

Yeah I wanted to do that but there wasn't any wood available..
