Sometimes a lone figure emphasises the emptiness.
Agree with Dave re having a person in shot works a lot of the time, anyway it’s nearly empty
Any reason for the b&w
Agreed, the person seems to emphasise the vast emptiness.
Big Tick for empty Bob, B&W works well.
Really love your chosen shot Bob. The limited tones are well balanced and enhance the foreground structure.
Like your chosen shot - love the wonky leg!
Another for your chosen shot. Nicely composed and a very dramatic sky.
Yep, chosen shot for me too, but I like the processing in the second image too. I do like a bit of left field processing....
Nice one. Got to agree with everyone that you have chosen the best shot. Great sky with contrasting colours, lifeguard stand just in right position.
Wonder what a long exposure would be like.
Really like your chosen shot, but your second one is also great.
I'd have been torn on which to choose if it were me.
Nice set Bob, chosen one is very sharp/punchy. Down your neck has a pretty good wall in the back ground
Interesting set
Several clever takes on the Theme Bob.
Cat one is different and good.
I really like structure, lots to look at.
I think the straight-on pylon shot would have been my choice, for very literal adherence to the theme if nothing else!
Target acquired! Another great picture, you must have had a hard time picking one for the theme.
Works for me Bob
It looks to me like the driver is pressing a touch too hard, the back end is stepping out of line, but no opposite lock -things are about to get very interesting!
A good take on the theme (we'll gloss over "Benz").
