This forum was recommended to me last week when I purchased a secondhand Chroma Advanced 4x5 camera on Ebay. I make, mainly landscape, images in most formats: Nikon DSLR, 35mm, 6x6 medium format, pinhole and, more recently, 4x5. I am finding that I am tending to neglect digital a bit...
So today I set out to try out my new (to me!) Nikon D5300 and SRB filters. Last time I went to this waterfall I was using a EOS 5 film camera! Anyway it's a bit of slide/scramble/climb down to the river bed then a short walk up to the falls but worth it. Had the place to myself and pottered...
So took a drive up to Fleetwood, my second time there, hoping for a good sunset, anyway it was OK. I got these 2 pictures, I'm happy enough but I know I can do better I just wasn't feeling the composition. Wasn't wasted eveing though as I love being by the sea, more so when the tide is coming...
Taken back in 2010, it's a 2 frame pano of the singing ringing tree that sits on a hill overlooking Burnley. The tree itself is a series of steel scaffold tubes that when the wind blows, and it does all the time on that hill, the tree makes a weird whistling sound.
