This is the first of a few posts with shots taken during my visit to IWM Duxford (01/09/10), where the Lotus Formula 1 team was doing aerodynamic straight-line testing.

It was easy to think of a catchy thread title as the Team-Lotus test driver was Nabil Jeffri.
He's apparently Formula One's youngest test driver, aged 16 http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/01092010/58/malaysian-becomes-youngest-f1-test-drive.html
Blimey... I was riding a Yam FS1E at that age...!

First up is this three, I'll bung the action shots of him scooting down the runway and the pit-lane practices once I've sifted through a day's worth of shooting, lol

Another set from the Lotus F1 straight-line testing...

On the car's return from from blasting down the runway, the crew did some tyre changing practice. Which, was all over in the blink of an eye..!
