2 Greens

Neither really work for me...

#1 I would crop out top 2 flower/leaf stems and brighten it a little

#2 Needs more of the brown dead leaves to give it the full flame effect at the moment just looks like blurred grass... I do think it could really work well so nice idea.

I did toy with removing the upper sticky out branches in the top image but felt the image would look a little unbalanced ?

Bottom one maybe select a few reed leaves and use hue to change them to brown? That'd be a mare to blend in but could look cool if it could be pulled off!

Personally feel it looks unbalanced as currently stands and balance would be restored without the 2 at top... that main subjects could both be on a third.

It would look awesome if pulled off correctly....
