Just curious to know which of these images people prefer?

...it'd be number 2 due to the slightly different composition.

Thanks for all the replies, this is interesting as personally I much prefer the first one, but the second one seems to be getting a more positivie response from other people. I plan to enter one into our camera club competition next season.
