I recently bought a Manfrotto 243RC monopod head which appears to have a 3/8" thread. I know Manfrotto monopods have an adjustable 3/8 and 1/4 Whit threads to suit the head, but does anyone know of any other less expensive make of monopod that has this facility? I'm wondering as I don't really need the quality of a Manfrotto, and used ones seem to be as rare as hens teeth.
(I have just missed a new MM294 A4 Manfrotto for £24.99 on e-bay as I don't have, or want, a paypal account)
 
@92p for a pack of 5, that's a bargain!!! Oh, they should do the trick too. If postage wasn't likely to be as much as that Amazon deal, I would offer to drop one in the post for you and would deliver it in person if you were closer.
