I like #3 best because of the nice punchy colours and the lack of the halo effect in #1 and #2.

Also a pity about the blemish on the carnation in #1

Gorgeous flowers. Love the carnation, I'd maybe darken the background a wee bit. Not sure about the halos - it does give them a 'dreamy' quality though. Great third shot too

They look like fab exposures John, I don't quite find the soft/halo effect works for me. ... makes me want to see through it to original crispness kinda thing.

I like and also dislike. :nuts:

Sharper Orchid - any better?

Well it looks improved but still could be better

The light looks a little flat on the orchid and the outline of both flowers looks a bit over sharpened. The stalk of the carnation looks particularly odd.
