Week 6: neat and tidy
A visit to Breda and the begijnhof. A historic semi- religious, sheltered community for women - now private residences. The houses and gardens were OCD tidy !

Week 9: Hidden
Another one from the Begijnhof in Breda. The communities are enclosed and hidden away so tried to capture that in this pic

Week 10: textures
Annoyed my partner this week: went out to buy her a jacket and I got one instead particularly because I liked the cord-like fabric.
Pic 1 shows the texture but not a great representation of the colour

Week 10: textures 2+vivid.
As we have a new technique to use (vivid) I decided to experiment with the white balance. The previous pic was on auto and this one I switched to tungsten to over- strengthen the true colour.

Week 11: personal (transport). No shortage of bikes in Amsterdam but liked this against the vertical lines and colours in the background.

Had a trip to the north of Amsterdam and the old NDSM shipyards and snapped this old bollard.

Visited Rotterdam and in St. Laurens church found some stone masonry recovered when it was damaged during WWII.

The rack is in the park so I suspect busier in summer or at weekends. The Dutch don’t worry where they leave them !
Yes I liked that but went for the hard edges and concrete of the stair.
