A couple from Texas

We were visiting in Texas the last week or so, and visited Galveston, Houston, and San Antonio. I managed a couple of shots I am happy with. The first is of a catholic church in Galveston. I tried to level it, but if I level in one place it looks bad in another spot.



The second is of The Alamo in San Antonio.

With a symmetrical building like the first one you really need to get yourself positioned central and straight...and this is nearly but not quite.

Second one is a good night exposure but needs more detail to add interest. Might look better bigger.
