Can't make my mind up about the angle of the first shot  but I absolutely love the second shot - that's the low key type shot I'm trying to achieve in my portrait project for college!

ive got quite a few shots like that fromn the same gig, the grain/style and the dress of steph make her look very 60's ish which i really like

love the detail round the eyes dispite the grainyness of the image :)

wish i had a proper negative scanner :(

second shot is excellent, cant fault it at all

Looks like clever processing to me rather than a dirty scanner :)

I don't bother with my scanner much these days - I just get the camera out and take a picture of the document/picture. Scans always seem to need editing anyway so its much faster and quality is fine.

Love these mate. I do prefer the second one. Her eye whites make the eyes just pop out and draw my vision up there. (If that makes sense) :)

Cool shots. I like the feeling these give. Love the movement in the face on the third, I think my fav is the second one tho. Good job :)

I really like the 3rd shot and think it would have been an excellent entry for this months comp on movement.
