He looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth,
well that is until something "falls off its perch" :D

Lovely set Chris.
1 & 4 are crackers.

Four ,five and six for me,nothing wrong with the others but you cant beat a good old owl stare
Cheers Den, I appreciate you dropping by and commenting (y)

Oooh that first one really looks evil for a littl'un, wouldn't want to upset it :(
Only ever seen a Juvenile Chilean Blue, stunning birds,
You did well there for a canon user :p

Cheers Ingrid (y)

Those Chilean blues certainly are stunning in adult plumage,
Its a shame it was (as they mostly were) l in "weatherings" and the sun wasn't on the feathers.

Very nice and the blue stands out for me (y)
I can't remember if I posted my in flight shot of the one at the Raptor Foundation, but it's a gorgeous species.

Just checked; I posted one and looking at the others I remember why that was all :D I didn't really do it justice as it was such an acrobatic performer.

Great captions again and like all of them but the first one's got an amazing intense stare:)

Wonderful set, number 5 looks so funny!! :)
Thanks Barney its appriciated
captive!
they are only "art" if they are "wild and free"
Bill, they are posted in "zoo" and by definition, they are captive, no one is denying that, but thanks for pointing out
in case some one missed it (y)
(Although they do fly free on occasions).

As for art, no one said they were art, they were posted for amusement, with quips as per
all my animal shots.

Hissy -

I know they were taken as captive subjects, etc., - you should be so lucky if they were not

you have yet to pick up on my sense of humour, you must have Lancashire descendants ……….. or I must
