Seeing some of the recent threads on BoP, I thought I'd share some of mine, as I'm uploading them to flicr anyway. They're from various places around the country, all captive unfortunately.

Excellent - all of them, really nailed the detail (y)

Favourite would be the last, really gives the image of stength with grace.. Love all of them though.

Great shots:)

(Would be very interested in what equipment you were using for these )

Thanks :)
I use a Canon 20D and 100-400mm L IS.

Some static shots ...

Must have a go at this :)

Excellent shots there.

Love the snowy owl, but all are good. :)

not bad at all! last one is excellent, what processing have you done on it?

Thanks for the comments.
The usual, just various levels (contrast, sat etc) and some USM. I did some noise reduction on a few as well, as some were taken at ISO1600. Don't really know how to use PS that well, so my processing is limited.

Superb - as good as any I've seen

LOVE that snowy Owl.

All very impressive shots though.
Very impressive indeed (y)

Number 2 and 4 of the last set for me. They really set the character of the raptors.

The only thing that puts me off the first ones is the fact that due to the sharpening they look a little 'pasted on' to the sky, possibly due to sharpening halos. Back off a bit and they'll be brilliant.

Buzzards. Really they're Eagles but nobody will admit it :)

Excellent shots  , showed my wife a 100-400 in Jessops today but she bought me a waterproof coat from Millets instead :(

You'll get there mate, don't worry. They all take time to train...
