Hi Everyone, i visited wingham wildlife park in kent today... took the kids they loved it and even got a few new pics.

Heres a few that i took, never tried photography on animals before so some comments on how to improve etc would be helpful

Martin,

I like the second one but feel it needs a bit of photoshopping to give it some more pep.

I would do simple levels and curves using each of the r g b channels, then finish off with a sharpening using high pass filter.

sorry but what does pep mean?

i did make some adjustments in light room and shrpened it slighhtly in there but im not sure what i a high pass filter is either so gonna try and google now

A high pass filter is used in Photoshop.
Under filters
select other
then High pass
then adjust the scale.
