I think that one of the reasons why this hasn't had any responses is that there are too many photos in one go, making it a daunting task to critique them individually. I would also try to no. them in future. Overall I like your night shots the most, as they are more unusual and the day views have been done to death. My favourite shot is the one with the lampposts by the pier, leading the eye into the distance.

Thanks, I've now numbered them, and removed a few of the daytime ones. I agree that the daytime ones are a bit done to death. Especially the shots from the main tourist spots, such as the bridge on the grand canal or the Rialto.

It's a food set bar one. I like the shadows and contrast of two and three although its a bit under in reference to the boats

Thanks all, it really is a lovely place, so cheap to visit off season as well. We went for 4 nights (5 full days) and it cost £215pp, including BA flights!
I'll have a go at converting the last one to B&W tonight to see how that looks I can use my fancy B&W add on for Photoshop which I've not used in a while.
