Headed down to Dartmoor yesterday for a few hours walking, and obviously the camera came with me.
All shots taken in less than desirable conditions, sadly I wasn't in the area for golden hour.

Comments welcomed

1 - Ditsworthy Warren House - The house used in the Spielberg's 'War Horse'.

2 - A small waterfall leading to the Burrator Reservoir.

3 - Heather on the Moors

4 - One of the weathered trees of Dartmoor.

Good set Jake..You made the best of the conditions here, Like the comp in no1 this would look great with early or late tones
my fave is no4 good f/g and the Le adds to the image.

Outdoor photography is all about light and composition. The OP knows what makes good light and has critiqued the problem here. Compositionally all are fine bit need reshoot in good light
like them all, but last one is the stand out for me :)
Cheers guys :)
Better light would definitely be needed, but it's a 2h30m drive, so until winter when the sun sets earlier it's not doable really.
